The emitters are held in position by a steel stub so the inlet of the emitter is precisely aligned in the PSS1 and PSS2 sprayers.
This makes it possible to apply the high voltage to the solvent, via the stub, in a zero dead volume connection.
The fused silica emitters are 10um and 20um ID x 150um OD.
The stainless steel emitter are 30um ID x 150um OD.
The tip of the emitters are finely polished to give a perfect tapered tip.
The emitters are shipped in a protective sleeve which secures a safe positioning in the sprayer.
