Woburn, MA June 4th, 2022 ESI Source Solutions, supplier of top-end chromatography products, announced a distribution agreement with Bruker, a company with differentiated high-value life science research and diagnostics solutions. The two companies agreed to promote sales of PepSep consumable chromatography products in the US and Canada to facilitate the adoption of Bruker’s proteomics solutions within the larger research community. This strategic partnership will allow cross-platform implementation of the advanced nanoflow LC columns, traps, and emitters that PepSep has become known for. ESI Source solutions will continue providing these components along with unique and custom adapters for a variety of nanospray sources and instrument platforms.

“This is very exciting for both us and our customers,” says John Neveu, Founder, and President of ESI Source Solutions, “We have been promoting PepSep products since 2018 and our customers appreciate the quality and ease-of-use that PepSep products bring to their workflows. We find that improvements of chromatography and nanospray interface devices can often dramatically improve results from any system, regardless of instrument platform. ESI Source Solutions specializes in cross-platform and custom installations of PepSep products, as well as other unique devices for nanospray and chromatography. With the new manufacturing facility located in Bremen, Germany coming on-line, we expect both quantity and quality of PepSep products to continue to improve.”

About ESI Source Solutions, LLC (Woburn, MA)

ESI Source Solutions (www.esisourcesolutions.com) became an LLC in 2009, with the simple goal of bringing Innovative Laboratory Technology to our customers in the field of proteomics. The company started with the experiences of John Neveu as he worked at a Proteomics CORE facility at Harvard University in the early 1990s (first the Harvard University Microchemistry Facility, then later the Mass Spectrometry Proteomics Resource Laboratory). As mass spectrometers capable of doing MS2 on peptides were being developed, the CORE collaborated with both Thermo Scientific and Micromass / Waters on instrument control and data analysis software. During this time, before advanced chromatography and nanospray interface devices were developed, John invented several solutions to common problems faced by researchers worldwide. This led to unique products like the Active Background Ion Reduction Device (ABIRD) which removes background ions from the MS1 signal, and the Capillary Polishing Station (CPS-2) which gives researchers the ability to make high-quality glass capillary components, to name a few. John retired from Harvard in 2019, allowing him to focus full-time on running the company as the team expanded our own product lines while we increase the number of lines we distribute from domestic and overseas partners. By signing this distribution agreement with Bruker, ESI Source Solutions shows current and future customers our commitment to securing the finest products to move their proteomics research forward.
